The research compared 3 oil samples<\/strong> in three packs<\/strong> of the indicated materials, subjecting them to the same temperature<\/strong> and light exposure<\/strong> conditions as they would be exposed on a supermarket<\/strong> shelf.
\nAfter 300 days the oil contained in the Tetra Pak\u00ae<\/strong> had maintained 80%<\/strong> of the initial value of phenol<\/strong> compounds and vitamin E<\/strong>, against 49%<\/strong> of the oil contained in the UVAG<\/strong> glass (the most shielding) and 31%<\/strong> of that in green glass<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tetra Pak\u00ae was found to be the most effective material in reducing the absorption of visible and ultraviolet light, drastically limiting the oxidation of extra virgin olive oil.<\/strong><\/p>\n
